I call these “Migrating Geese”. They are an interesting variation on traditional Flying Geese blocks, and they are super easy to piece.

• No specialty ruler needed . There is no squaring up. There is no marking.

• Cutting is easy: You start with squares, and both Background and Geese squares are the same size, either 4” or 5” or 6”.

• The method is forgiving, with extra room so the side points of the geese triangles do not get chopped off.

• It’s a great way to use scraps!
