Sew eight panels "quilt-as-you-go" style, then join them with a clever hinged fabric strip method. All sewing is done on the machine – no handwork needed! Tree skirt finishes about 58" to the widest points, but size is easily altered to fit your tree.

Pattern is detailed, with illustrations of each step. Detailed, but not difficult! Full size pattern pieces are included for you to print out. You can use fancy fabrics (not all cotton quilting fabric) because you are sewing onto batting and backing as a foundation.

I also have a 6-point version of this pattern available. The 6 point version has fewer rows and wider strips so it goes together faster than the 8-point one, but it is made with the same technique.
